Blaue Stunde (Blue Hour) is the title of Helge Leiberg’s upcoming exhibition, a term used in the poetic sense in literature for the short period in which the sun rises on the horizon or drops behind it. Symbol of movement and change, which are also key elements of the artist, born in Dresden in 1954. Helge Leiberg, in painting, drawing and sculpture, captures movements of human figures. Their limbs are over-long, their gestures effusive. Nothing stands still, nothing remains, nothing is formulated. The movements of the body are the expression of emotion to be experienced intuitively. The exhibition features works on canvas and bronze sculptures.
